  1. Of course! The Madison Scouts currently. By far! Best of all time? 90's Blue Devils. Jeff Lee was a ground-Breaking pit arranger!
  2. How about bringing back "Something" - the George Harrison tune as played by the Buddy Rich band and the Crossmen...
  3. Please! Of course they wont, are you so hard up to post that you have to start an idiotic thread like this? Come on - lets give the Crossmen a break - and some time to adjust to the change and hopefully come back strong!
  4. Wow - I haven't looked at this thread in a few days and what a pissing contest it's turned into! Wow! I started this thing to show appreciation for what I personally think was one of the single most entertaining shows of all time. Also to suggest that if one of today's groups would get off the artsy-fartsy horse and play selections this entertaining it would be great. Boy I love this place!
  5. This guy absolutely has the correct attitude and he's in for a pleasant suprise when he sees the facilities there in San Antonio!
  6. That is a very correct statement. Ronald Reagan High School looks more like a modern College than a HS campus. The facilities there are first rate. They have probably the best music program in the entire state and the area surrounding the school is very affluent. The Crossmen will be enjoying some of the best home digs in drum corps...
  7. Darn good to see the Blue Stars Back! Lose the Mikes and you'll be back in it!
  8. OK - Now you are just making too much sense! I might have to go back to RAMD this afternoon so I can have a nice useless meaningless argument with someone who makes no sense at all! Maybe Ms Burrrrrrr is lurking around......................
  9. The problem was that someone sent Nanci an email nastygram about her use of the photo in question - claiming to "own" it - Anyway - no one directly accused Malibu of being that person. She went off anyway and pulled her photos. Seems like overkill but thats just me.
  10. It might also have something to do with the fact that you are using common sense in your decision making! :-)
  11. Nope - Wrong again.... <**> I love the pictures. Thought her pictures were as good as any here - just thought she made a mountain out of a molehill again. Sending email to folks and making accusations that were false. No need for that - what she needed to do was chill - not remove everything to prove some insignificant point. Who needs that?
  12. Not referencing anyone in particular. Just sticking up for Nancid - heard about the person who sent her the nastygram - that's all. Don't care about the original post. I just think it's silly how folks can get so bent out of shape over something so well intentioned and harmless. When was the last post you saw referencing Hoppy that was purely meant for fun, not for hateful reasons? NanciD probably spends more time researching DrumCorps history than anyone and always has the best of intentions.
  13. Hey - didn't I buy that photo on Ebay - then distribute it somewhere - then claim it was my original photo - then watermark it - then PM someone telling them they can't use it because it was a copyright violation - then looked a little harder at the url - then figured out I was full of it - then said good job posting it - all the time completely missing the WONDERFUL meaning of the post by Nancid? Oh wait - nope - not me!!! I love the irony of your post!! Thanks NanciD!!
  14. These folks are for real. - Can someone say "Better than Star of Indiana?"
  15. Garfield's was good but the Sky Ryders did a much, much better job with it.
  16. I completely agree!! North Star laid down a solid, entertaining show that year.
