  1. Lol....either way, their feet look excellent.
  2. Blue Devils - One word, LOUD!!! Cadets - Their legs remind me of the wooden soldiers from The Nutcracker (?). The uniform is one reason I joined the military. I love the drill of course. I love the staff (especially Jay Bocook, Gino Cipriani and Jeff Saktig). I love the way the plumes bob when they march (lol). I love the tradition, the military bearing, the elements they've brought to drum corps. There's just soooooooo much I love about them (but of course I'm biased). Cavies - Drill is absolutely phenominal. SCV - Love the classiness of this corps. That's all for now...
  3. This thread is stupid. Every thread about the Cadets gets hijacked. By pro-Cadets, Anti-Cadets, Narration supporters, Narration haters, hell, I've even hijacked a couple of threads. This is a forum. You can't stop people from expressing themselves (as much as I would LOVE to do it). We'll all just have to get over it.
  4. Yeah I hope they are. I love those plumes. I wish we had them when I marched.
  5. Okay I just fell for the little bug in your signature...
  6. You need to be reminded that it's 2008. Things change. Get used to it and stop #####ing already. Most of us hate narration, but apparently it is here to stay. There is still great music and marching going on.
  7. Wow. I like it just as much as I liked the Maroon trim. Man, Cadets are really bringing it back. Can't wait to see them this summer. Wouldn't it be great to see the DM switch Unis for every other show? Haha...they'll please everyone. Either way, looks HOT!!
  8. OH MY GOD...This guy returns safely back from the warzone only to die in a motorcycle accident. That's ironically sad. Deepest condolences.
  9. Not to brag but I've shown a lot of people Cadets 2000 (of course). They love the gimmicks and now most of them follow the activity.
  10. If I went into how many times I watch my last season in drum corps, we'd be here for days.
  11. But those margins are going to get even thinner with the cost of fuel and food rising. I have to say I am a little worried. I am doing my part to support the corps of my choice, but we are all feeling these economic challenges. I am worried that people who have supported corps over the years may take another look at their budgets and opt out of supporting the corps. I am trying to be optimistic about today's economy, but it doesn't seem there is a light at the end of this dark tunnel. SUPPORT SUPPORT SUPPORT!!!
  12. Didn't say you did....also, that was just a joke dude.
  13. So?? What's the problem? I think that video is mad cool.
  14. Since that's over with, I have to mention that as much as Phantom's show last year wasn't my most favorite show, that hornline was unbelievable. Especially the end of their opener. Gave me goosebumps when I watched them at finals last year. Buuut, back to the 10 least....
  15. Please. You wouldn't know what to do with my girl, or any girl for that matter.
  16. I hate the smell of roses...and manure of course (that Texas smell...just kidding..)
  17. You sound like a hippie lol...just kidding. Nah, but I mean I really don't see what is bad about having a themed show. Adds a little variety per corps and per show for that particular corps in my opinion.
  18. I would much rather see a show WITH a theme than without. Like Crown's 07 show. That was an excellent themed show. There are lots of great shows without themes that I really love, but themed shows to me kinda add another element other than just playing and marching. And I like that. I hear people say themes are kinda "artsy fartsy." Whatever. I still love them.
