Hey people come on let the G-7 go we all need a great big breath of fresh air ! Yes it will be sad to not see the top 7 corps corps but I really think that Hopkins and the other directors are trying to call Dan's bluff . I truly believe that if this does happen Hopkins and the others will be shooting themselves in the perverbile foot , the G-7 stand to lose a TON of money and the instructor's will be headed for the lower tier corps , not all of them but enough to build product's the caliber of the Blue Devil's , Cadet's , Bluecoats , Cavies etc . As far as someone wishing Hoppy dead thats just sad that anyone would wish that on anyone over something like this . Oh yeah just think we'll have a new top 7 and it will be great ! Bands are bands and drum corps are drumcorps and thats the way it should be .

At the theater that I was at the fans were cheering for the Glassmen and Madison mostly understandably since it was mostly a T-Town crowd also quite a few Cavalier fan's I don't think the audience were into The Blue Devil's very much maybe a jazz major from some high profile would get into that stuff but not the general public . Don't get me wrong BD is really good but I want to be entertained and I was not by the Blue Devil's , I get their show I just don't like it ! My own personal opinion , and I hate to say it but I didn't like my own corps show this year , but I loved Phantom's show and The Academy's show who I think got screwed BIG time that corps should have beaten both the Colt's and Glassmen !

I just plain don't see this happening the judges that are the most knowledgeable are much older that the kids that they are judging , I can see your point I just don't see the logic , but it is a problem . I got to hand it to Steve Ulincy at the Glassmen show he was right on top of it all and I noticed that Steve had an ankle brace on his right ankle . It was EXTREMELY HUMID at the show and the turf was really wet since a thunderstorm had went through right at start time 7:30 pm and nothing had a chance to dry out because of the humid conditions and yet Steve worked right through it all and the result's were quite accurate from what I can tell from the recaps . One percussion judge is not enough and this is proof !

Also Phantom has my vote this year what a drop dead beautiful show , Ilove absolutly everything that Phantom has to offer. the flugle horn soloist , that outstanding Renick ( Mr. & Mrs. ) percussion , That J.D. Shaw brass and the beautiful colorguard this corps should be in the top 5 easily ! Smitty

I aggree with you Tez clean up what ever small amount of dirt in the percussion caption . Man when your corps is this good I would hate to be the one in charge of finding imperfections , those imperfections are like finding a needle in a haystack ! I guess it would be everyone in the staff's problem ? Send out the TICK police !!

Good evening , everyone , the reason that the Glassmen are doing so well this season in percusion is because of a comglomeratiom of thing's . The first is of the excellent percussion staff and excellent work ethic that the kid's have in the ensemble itself they know what has to be done and they do it , it's as simple as that . And Rob Ferguson is starting to make a real name for himself ! congradulations Glassmen percussion if it weren't for this section It wouldn't be so pretty on august 13th at semi-finals I think Rob and his crew have the G-men peak under control this time I would love to see the percussion scores to peak out in the upper 18 's at finals in which should boost the corp's musical GE scores But like I have said all year long well see . Get mad Glassmen this ain't no game this is WAR , take no prisoners no I'm sorry's destroy the oposition DESTROY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is all , DIIIIISMISSED . Smitty

I truly want to believe that they deserved this high of a mark and I think that I do . One of their staff posted something on facebook today stating that the staff incorporated some additions to the show and that were excited to put it on the field for tonights show and it must have payed off in a really big way and I say good for them , congradulations GLASSMEN ! Now for the recaps so I can pick them apart along with the last 3 show's ! I will say one thing for this corps that the kids are just a phenominal bunch of kids and their fairly young which is great ! Smitty

I ain't candy coatin it anymore and let's get that GE in an upward swing if you do this and the others keep their upward swing this corp's could place 8th or 9th when all is said and done so GET-R-DONE ! Good job Glassmen keep it up practice , practice and practice I'm sure Sal , Rob and Gile's have some cool stuff to add to the mix so believe , believe it can happen your through the hard stuff , you can handle anything that the instructors throw at you right now and trust me they won't throw anything that you can't handle right now , you can do it kid's !!
