As Season XII begins tomorrow, I figured now would be a good time to finally make the pre-season announcements for the Hydrargyrum Music Organization. For Season XII, Quiksilver will be presenting "Aeroscapes", including musical selections: - "Ascend" by Samuel Hazo - "Journey of Man: Flying" by Richard Saucedo - "Whirlwind(s)" by Richard Saucedo - "Windsprints" by Richard Saucedo Quiksilver will also be sporting updated uniforms With HMO's creation came two new corps, Mercury and Hg For their inaugural season, Mercury will be presenting "A Bird's-Eye View", including musical selections: - "Vespertine Formations" by Christopher Deane - "Kingfishers Catch Fire" by John Mackey - "The Firebird" by Igor Stravinsky Mercury's corps and drum major uniforms For their inaugural season, Hg will be presenting "TransAtlantic Air", including musical selections: - "Rhapsody in Blue" by George Gershwin - "1000 Airplanes on the Roof" by Philip Glass - "Flower Duet" by Leo Delibes - "Turbine" by John Mackey Hg's corps and drum major uniforms

In the wake of Season XI and an outstanding first season for Quiksilver, the decision has been made to form an Open Class corps, Mercury, and an A Class corps, Hg, which will begin competing in Season XII. Quiksilver, Mercury, and Hg will be put under the control of the Hydrargyrum Music Organization.
