The piece they had showed the composer as 'sibelius/shostakovich' - so I think it's from the show. I don't think they would mix it up for a concert piece, they would just play a single piece. Also if I'm not mistaken, I believe it showed the title as 'part 1' ? Which again, indicates it's from the show.

yeah I get it. I marched and taught. But I what I mean is that I haven't seen this excitement from those involved with the corps in quite a while. we will see I guess

The show has been entertaining, but the way they (the editors, not the kids) dramatize "injuries" is pretty silly. "oh I fell and got a boo boo on my head, I'd be devastated if I can't peform!". It's like drum corps kids are a bunch of hypochondriacs, lol. I know that's not actually the case. We certainly pushed through a lot more, without making a big deal out of it,

They played NWS in 89 and it was a very popular show for them (still is). I'd rather they not play something they've played before.

I absolutely love Frank Sullivans arranging! I wanted him to go to phantom before they got will pitts, and was hoping to see him at cadets when it was announced Jay wouldn't be going back. This is awesome news!

One of my favorite moments from 2015 I think a lot of people didn't notice. Blue Knights, in the closer just before their last big hit, and just after the last "I'm alive, I'm alive", they do that knee kick that they used to do for every single step off. I thought it was a perfect spot for it, very effective! Do they do that once every year now? If so, that's the only time I noticed it.

I'm still not sure who is actually writing the drill, moreno or cartwright (or both)? Either way, I don't think I've been this excited about regiment in a long time.
