are the Colt Cadets a "B" corps to the Cadets?

I bought VIP Tickets for my wife and I at Allentown for the Cadets June 18th 3 C show. Each ticket got 2 seat spacing; that left holes in the seating pattern (for the small people anyway). I couldn't believe how many people tried to sit in the empty spaces with just general admission tickets. Most of them were middle aged people. There was a young (very young) couple behind and to my left of me. The young man tried out for the Cadets but didn't make it this year. I had the best conversation with them. They were polite, and even thought he didn't make the brass line, he bought VIP tickets to support his favorite corps. I would rather spend most of my time talking and listening to the kids that are associated with DCI corps than most of the adults that try to take advantage of every trick to get better seats than they pay for and then talk through the whole show. Bravo to DCI kids!! Mitch

This has been an interesting topic. I think the issue here involves expectations - why aren't more people doing reviews. This seems to be an expectation of one, a few or maybe the majority. I do not expect that a certain number of DCP Posters write a review. One of the problems with disappointing expectations is we have expectations from people but we don't tell them up front of the expectations we have of them. I'm not sure how anyone could be upset about expectations that have not been clearly stated. Reviews are a real plus - but I don't believe I have heard that DCP had an expectation that if I attend a show, I am expected to do a review. How about asking for volunteers who go to shows to do a review. I bet someone(s) will. Thamks for listening Mitch

At some point all brass players are going to be doing some rifle work - according to the Corps director. Just how much and when it will be added is yet to be determined.

I'm almost positive that ties are not broken; they are allowed again. This was one of the rule changes this year.

I have a split decision on BD. I find their show to be a really nice show to watch - they do what they are doing well - what else would you expect from them. The other side of me has to give credit to a corps like the HNC that are busting their butt for a great deal of their show. I would like to see the later corps win because of the exposure they put themselves under. And to all the corps members of all DCI Corps - you are astounding. Their is no junk out there as far as the marching members go.

I have to be honest - I see a lot of moving by the brass when not playing or by a stationary part of the brass line. Am I alone on this?

I think the brass did a little bit of bottle dance in middle of show - is that legal, especially just before SCV???
