You mean DCI doesn't have crazy stalker fans? Also, someone do the math. Perhaps DCI had a total of 14 million viewers on PBS over the entire life of the broadcasts on PBS [not for any single year]. That might be more realistic.

It's true that those sounding Taps at Veterans' services predominately play Trumpet, Cornet or Soprano. Don't let that stop you though. At the Echo Taps event in New York state 2005 just about every brass voice was included.

Nope, and I do know a lot about the activity which I have gained over 45 years. What I was trying to point out is how I would feel if I knew little or nothing about the activity. This may or may not be the case with the OP.

The way this thread has gone, if I had a young child wanting to go into the activity I would definitely say "No Way!". That's my opinion and is based solely upon the comments in this tread.
