I have been trying to log onto Dci.org and have not been successful. Did the site crash?

What worked for me one year for the Quarterfinals performance was talking to the Manager. A few days before the event I went and asked to speak to the manager and explained a bit about the activity. He was very receptive and the volume was great at the actual show.

Please remember that not everyone has a facebook account.

There are ugly, snarky comments about lots of corps on this board. There are corps that I don't like and there are corps that you don't like. It's a two way street.

It's been 17 years. They will NOT look the same.

Are you aware of any explanation that has been given for the lower placement of the 'high' camera?

Carolina Crown has never beaten the Blue Devils. They have to defeat some other corps along the way too. Get back to me after CC has beaten the Blue Devils.

DCI posted an article about the voting but failed to mention what the projects for the respective corps were. I wrote them an e-mail telling them that they had an incomplete article. Their reply said that I should go to Facebook to find out more. I went to Facebook and found that you have to be a member to view anything. At this point I have no memberships in any of the popular sites. This could also be the case for others in the Drum Corps community.

I'm going to go with the 1987 Cadets.

I was just reading this thread at 3:50 p.m. central time and my email arrived.

I have not purchased them yet. If the reviews are not good, I will wait until they are less expensive later in the year.

I have not heard any reviews of the 2009 Finals DVD's. I have heard that the high camera wasn't so high. I'd also like to know about the musical quality.

If I remember correctly, the 'Boro line-up will be the 6 top scoring corps up to that point in the season.

06 Cavaliers 07 Devils IMHO the 1981 Blue Devils color guard uniform started the trend.

I marched DCI for 2 years and completed 2 years of Music at Rend Lake Community College. I decided to go in another direction when I transfered to a University.
