If you are talking about the author, I would have to say you are wrong. The author legitimately believes in Share the Love, and has been questioned about this before, so it makes sense. This is an outstanding article! As an alumni of the corps, I agree with this completely! And I am sure many corps members feel this way! Surfing the Flower Song is always an interesting read, and the author is truly an outstanding member of the corps

I'm going to be completely honest, I didn't fully understand the show Carolina Crown performed this year, and I'm ok with that. I enjoyed how well they played and marched. Personally, I look at the champion as who we like the best that year, and besides Jersey Surf (obviously) I liked Blue Devils the best. Again, I didn't fully understand the show, but for some reason it connected with me more than Crown's show did. And all of this, is just my opinion

Hello, My name is William Turner and I am 21 years old. I was recently accepted as a member of the Jersey Surf World Class Drum and Bugle Corps in the tuba section. I am writing this post because I need help in raising the money for my tour fees. Tour fees for the Jersey Surf are approximately $3000.00. I need the help in raising money for my tour fees because in addition to tour fees, I also have to pay for college and my travel expenses to get to and from Jersey Surf rehearsals. Of all of the choices listed, I voted King. That being said, my favorite brand for brass is, surprisingly, Dynasty. I admit that their horns are finicky, but I find them easy to play, once you are used to their little quirks.

Current marching age poster here. Despite the fact that I auditioned for the cadets, I do not approve of the G7 proposal or whatever it is called now. I think it is ridiculous. The one thing that stands out to me for this whole situation is this : Take care of yourselves, take care of each other. I learned this from my boss, and I think it rings true. If the top corps want to get more members, they need to support dci, not just themselves. If they do this, then they will be supporting themselves. To me, the MIM corps sound like a group of children right now. "Give us what we want, or we won't play with you!" I think they need to grow up, and act like adults. My opinion, YMMV of course

Predictions for 2013, World Class only: 1) Cadets - I have a good feeling about Side by Side also, since I'm auditioning for the Cadets, I'm a little biased. 2) Blue Devils - Come on, this is the safe bet 3) Phantom Regiment - Phantom is better than last year, but the corps above them are even better 4) Carolina Crown - Someone has to fall from the top, and it seems like it will be an off year for them, not sure why 5) Santa Clara Vanguard - See Phantom Regiment 6) Bluecoats - Don't see them falling out of the top 6 7) Boston Crusaders - Hungry to stay strong, so they remain consistent 8) Cavaliers - I just don't see them rebounding quickly after last year's stunning fall from the top 3 9) Madison Scouts - Tough to break into the top 8 these days 10) Spirit of Atlanta - have a good feeling about this one. Interchangeable with Crossmen 11) Crossmen - Being back in finals will draw more talent for them 12) Blue Stars - Hungry to get back into finals ------------------- 13) Blue Knights - Losing Marc Sylvester is going to hurt BK 14) Jersey Surf - Bringing in a huge pool of talent after Bridgemania last year 15) Pacific Crest - Tom Aungst is going to help them, and will drive them up 16) Troopers - Paul Rennick book will help them out 17) Colts - Good show, but hard to move up with everyone improving 18) Academy - Someone has to fall 19) Oregon Crusaders - First year in World Class, got a good feeling about them 20) Glassmen - sorry to do this, but this where my gut tells me they will end up, but I hope I am wrong about this one 21) Mandarins - Seems about right 22) Cascades - see Mandarins 23) Pioneer - they try, but it is just hard to move up sometimes

So good! I love Les Miserables! I sang Empty Chairs at Empty Tables for my voice jury last semester! Such a sad song, but I can hear (them now) some very tasty horn writing in that song, but man would i LOVE for Cadets2 to play it. (Especially since I don't think anyone since Carolina Gold in 2001 has done that song on the field)

So, are you implying a sandwich? because the bread of a sandwich would not be good for me
