No, that was Steve Calhoun..... -
Which was designed as an indoor field with the option of opening the roof if it would be comfortable for the fans, it is opened more for night games in the fall when there is not a chance of rain. It wasn't designed to be opened in 90 degree heat in the middle of the day in the middle of August.

Madison Scouts 2011

Ok. In that case the last head to head Madison was 0.4 ahead of the Blue Stars. Pretty darn close if you ask me. Can't wait for the Regional Saturday!!! -
Can we get a weather update from our resident "weather terrorist", I mean meteorologist! I kid, I kid. Thank you for posting weather updates! It is much better than looking at weather maps and trying to figure it out myself.

Madison Scouts 2011
Mr.Potato.Head replied to steelchops's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
I wasnt comparing the score, i was comparing the spreads and after the corps were 0.4 appart in a head to head earlier this week I think it could be a valid spread. Or are we not supposed to compare the spreads anymore....seems to me to be a pretty good indicator of placements between corps. Before the corps met back up in Iowa the spreads showed that Madison and the Blue Stars were neck and neck and then what happened when the met up again.... And in regards to the percussion scores the Blue Stars beat Madison in percussion earlier this week by .5 I can't wait until Saturday to see how this pans out for the time being. I would love to see both of these corps move up because I like both of their shows much better than a couple of corps right in front of them! -
Madison Scouts 2011

The Madison Scouts were .95 behind SCV yesterday, the Blue Stars were exactly 1 point behing SCV the day before, that is a different of .05. I don't think the Blue Stars fans have anything to be worried about in regards to the Madison Scouts, the two corps are neck and neck. What an entertaining season we have on our hands!!!! -

Who cares if they just came to see the Scouts play, it is still rude to just get up and leave before the end of the show because your favorite corps had already performed. I am sure there are some people who weren't thrilled about watching the Scouts but were sitting in the stands anyways. Thank you for editing your post, now it doesn't sound like "a who gives a f**k if they left" post. -
I think you mean Friday, not tomorrow.

Crown's new ending
Mr.Potato.Head replied to Phantom&Phitch's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Ends on the same basic chord again this year, unless they add something else later on. Much better conclusion to the show than before!!! I love the time of the season where we start to see changes! -
rain delay, lights went out, lights were fixed, show is still going!
-
After the events of the evening I think we have a winner for the most accurate title for a show thread.
-
I had heard INT was learning some changes for the show the last few days! Maybe these are the changes that will allow them to make the push into finals again this year!!!
-
The Blue Stars beat Bluecoats last night in percussion, so their percussion section is right up there this year too! Not saying SCV doesn't have a great percussion section, but it may not give them as big of an advantage as many think.

Recaps are up! http://www.dci.org/scores/recap/view.cfm?event_id=10d4ae98-87fe-4375-89f5-15ffd2eea7ca

Tonight is a very intriguing show! Will the Blue Stars be able to perform their show with confidence after making so many changes? Will those changes help their scores? Who will win Scouts or Blue Stars, they are neck and neck if you look at spreads! And how close will they be to the Bluecoats? Stay away rain!!!!!

Interesting observation about The Cadets....it looks like the only holes in the hornline are from the demons side......
