99.9999999% sure cadets will go back Crown likes to slightly change their unis, I imagine that their uniforms from last year won't carry over well to this season. I hope the academy doesn't change, their uniforms are slick as hell. Phantom is more or less a given, interesting to see what they do with turandot I hope that BD gets rid of the striped leg-cape from last year. But major changes, haven't heard anything.

Wubwubwubbwubwubwubwubwub And the blue stars 2012 show, dubsteption. Anyhow, I doubt this will happen, at least in great numbers. Contemporary music hasn't been a big hit in DCI overall. We still get shows playing standards, contemporary classical, etc. But you don't hear funk, disco, alt rock, metal, pop, etc, nearly as often even though music like mahler isn't mainstream. Pop music changes every couple years, but good melodic music is something different. I would like to see an old greg show though.

Spirit has the most potential, IMO, of making a big splash in 2012. Making the top 12 is great, and I don't want to belittle that. But to break in, and stay in, is something that is hard to do. With Spirit's new identity, exciting shows, and tradition, I would not be surprised to see this organization hang around the top 12 for a good long time. Look out Blue Stars.

2005 vanguard did russian christmas music. They also tied their lowest placement ever, 8th place, and I would say they still haven't recovered from that season.

Bluedevils=mix of bluecoats and Blue Devils (hence the lack of space between Blue and Devils) haha, get it?

The all age corps do funk shows.....

loads have been talked about, especially with Rennick joining SCV and the entire massive improvement from 10 to 11. sleeper? somewhat. People have been focused on the newest changes in SCV, such as gaining Shaw and most of the Bluecoats brass staff, so this past season less has been said about the percussion, that is not to say that the percussion wasn't good last year (it was very good) but the show was very percussion focused, which was their strongest point musically. in 2009, their best year in recent years, the percussion finished 6th while the corps finished 4th. 2011 the corps finished 6th, but the percussion was 4th. If SCV can build on that, without having to focus the show on the percussion, great things can happen.

Giftsmas isn't even religious anymore. Anyone worried about religion being pushed in DCI has ignored the glassmen's prayer cycle show. (Let alone angels and demons) Some of the music is nice, they can do fun things with it. I just don't see this as a championship show. Of course I don't like to say this before I listen to it... but screw it, good luck but if they are trying to win another chamionship then I don't see it with this show

Cavies dressed in Pioneer, going first they would like be scored a little bit lower than they would if they were going in the top 5. but not by much. Pioneer dressed as Cavies would finish in the bottom 3 likely, since their show would be right next to Cadets or BD

Because the Blue Knights show was so cute and fun, it is in 2nd place and 5th place on your favorites

To each his own, in the end BK's shows the past few years have been among my favorites in each of those seasons. Madison BK and Boston are all pushing hard to move up, will Cavies, Phantom and/or Bloo drop out of the top 6? and if one, or several, do who would move up?

I want to see the Blue Knights do either Lion king, or simply African Tribal Music type stuff Why? Because they did europa then english folk songs, essentially very similar in style. Complete contrast from music, not contrast from theme. A lot of this involves using new percussion equipment and experimenting, something BK enjoys doing, the music itself would be beautiful, symbolism in the drill writes itself. story? maybe.
