The weather has not been a DCA fan at all this summer.Got the rest of the show in, finished up with Cabs & Sabers batteries playing with a bunch of kids from the local Epic Percussion program. Time to pack up the merch and hit the bar!

Bigger grandstand's coming. Probably by next summer, I hear. Lighting's fine in person. So the bright skies are approaching. Looks like we're gonna have the rest of a drum corps show.

Show's in a rain and lightning delay. Sky & Bush performed so far. Looks like maybe 25 minutes or so. And, yes, Cabs Alumni are on at intermission.

Either way, a big name is left out, and deservedly, at that, but I just have a feeling BAC squeaks in past Madmen tonight. Eat 'em up, Boston!

Amen to the Crossmen comments. While maybe not a medal contender, if they keep doing all the things they seem to be doing right, it's easy to see them vying for top 5 within a year or two. Already solidly in my top 5 for just plain enjoyable drum corps this year!

Hoping EVERYBODY does, because I'LL be there!

I'm loving the early start! It'll allow me to get home before 1 AM, minimizing the impact on my workday tomorrow ;-) .

45-plus years for me, and this could be in my top 3 of all time!
