So the plot thickens! You might notice that DCI has that "WATH" logo, and a new tag line "Site part of the WATH network. Powered by We Are The Hits" From my brief research, WATH is a organization that allows people to monetize off of covers of popular songs. Thats probably why they were able to bring back the on-demand. BTW, I sprung for the on demand, and my thoughts so far are positive. The video is pretty solid, and it looks 720p (Although it looks like you are watching it on a CRT TV at times). Audio sounds good. Interface is a mess and there is no quality toggle, which can cause buffering issues. Wish list: -More shows, especially from past years -Easier way to look through videos. Right now you can select the corps, but then it shows all of the shows they've ever done. There is no way to filter by year, so if they do add older shows then it will be a pain to dig through -A way to hide that status bar at the bottom -A quality toggle (not that I need it, but others definitely will) -Non interlaced video so it doesn't look like someone up-scaled a VHS tape

To answer OP's question, no, if I remember correctly there was no quality toggle for the on demand stuff as of now, but since it's not live you may be able to pause it and let it buffer before playing

I am behind, so I'm only on BD, but Bluecoats in general are much more exciting live IMO. Still amazing on the stream, but live was like a whole different show

I mean, one is a staple of a corps, I don't think this is a Blue Devils staple. Also, the crown is a single drill set, while this would be a massive screen printing adding a very clear and non ambiguous element. I'm not trying to do double standards here. I agree the crown doesn't fit, but at least its relevant to the corps identity. The shield at the end of vanguards show isn't relevant to nature either. Maybe not a literally retelling, but its pretty heavily inspired by the characters and events from the play. A giant screen printed kraken/cthulhu seems pretty random for them to tie in to this.

You can check for yourself until they fix their bug, but from a video perspective, you are getting the uncompressed 720i feed, so it looks better than the feeds, but any time there is significant motion, you will see the interlacing... its pretty apparent (At least I'm like 90% sure that is what it is) Haven't listened closely enough for the audio

So, Intriguing thing, looks like they haven't set up the restrictions yet, so all the videos are free

Just realized that the DCI Live subscription doesn't include it. Hmmm... Will have to think about this now...

I like that they changed the chord in the snowflake right before the transition to the shield, it make the music rewrite make a ton more sense!
