  1. If only i posted this a few minutes earlier. Oh well, I guess they can just be merged or mine can be deleted
  2. Remember your free Slurpie from 7/11! Nobody had started this thread yet so I figured I would post my first show thread. This is a great lineup of last year's non-finalist corps. I'm very excited to see where everyone places! I will try and periscope throughout the show. My twitter handle is the same as my DCP name. Weather looks very nice for the show! Mid 80s, partly cloudy, and no chance of rain. 3. Well seeing as it's been almost 10 years since they were last in the top 7, this will be the first time recently that they can make it
  4. Can't wait to see them live in Denver. Haven't been this excited to see a corps live since Crown went to Denver in '13
  5. same here. a video would be much appreciated :)
  6. I hope they make it to Denver on time. They only have an hour
  7. Denver will be the first meet up between all of the non finalist corps so far. It'll be interesting to see how all of them place since for the most part, they're all very close in scores
  8. My top 6 is mostly wishful thinking haha I will be honest in saying that I am very biased towards BK, Crown, and BAC
  9. My mid season predictions. It's my opinion so please don't attack me for it. I do this for fun and it's mostly wishful thinking. I think the top 6 will all be ridiculously close and any of them could medal. This is a great year for drum corps and so far there is not a show that I do not like but unfortunately only 3 can medal in a year and only 12 can make finals. 1. Crown - Gut feeling that that new ending will make this show into a monster come finals. I feel like there will be something surprising added to the show. Should win Guard this year and they will definitely be in the running for the Ott. Percussion is much improved and this show still has a ton of room to grow. 2. Cadets - After last year there's no way they place lower than 2nd. Fantastic brass and percussion and visually very clean. Guard will hold them back. 3. Blue Devils - It's not last year and I don't think there's anyway they repeat as champions after coming off a record breaking year. Fantastic across the board. Love the music selections 4. Bloo - I could see them switching with Crown here depending on how there show comes along the next few weeks. Fantastic across the board. Revolutionary show. The question is whether they can clean it. 5. Blue Knights - This is the year they break into the top 7. The brass is amazing and the other sections are very solid. Their show is much more complex than last year. Closer gives me goosebumps. This is the corps to watch out for and a true dark horse. 6. SCV - I really want to put them higher but it's just so competitive this year. I would love to see them medal 7. BAC 8. Cavies 9. Phantom 10. Blue Stars 11. Madison Scouts 12. Crossmen 13. Troopers 14. Oregon Crusaders 15. Pacific Crest 16. SoA 17. Colts 18. Cascades 19. Academy 20. Mandarins 21. Pioneer 22. Jersey Surf
  10. Maybe they could ascend from hell using some trampolines
  11. I think they're showing that they have a lot to add still. Very excited to see what this show looks and sounds like come finals
  12. It's a good sign that they're hanging with phantom and cavies without a completed show. Expect a big jump when the whole show is on the field
  13. I was beyond happy to see the increase in membership this year :)
  14. Love the uniforms. Love that they have more members than last year. Love the music. Love the show. Very, very excited to see them live in Denver
  15. So I'm going to Drums Along The Rockies and I was just wondering where I should sit in order to get the full effect of Bluecoat's show. Would lower be better than higher up?
  16. So it's not just me... the KPop is just so out of place in what otherwise is a dark, gorgeous show
  17. I've never seen someone so salty about a corps show haha
  18. I love Hunt's drill. As someone who has marched his drill I may be a little biased but I think he's much better than people give him credit for.
  19. Looks like the top 5 are pretty much established. Even though BD has the early lead I feel like they won't go undefeated this season
  20. There's also a YouTube video of their show from tonight
