Apple TV was working fine and then went into the loop like mentioned earlier ... and then asked me to re-up for $49.99 / month. I moved to the computer and its working fine.

My daughter has come into the stadium with me at St Louis, San Antonio and Atlanta ... so she's seen Boston, Crown, SCV, BD and Bluecoats a few time. She loves watching other corps ... but for the most part, she gets most of her info from me (and not live viewings).

Did not know this song until the Cavaliers ... now I love it and find myself humming it all the time.

I'm thinking the corps would hate to lose the practice day. The Saturday night corps got all of Friday to practice ... if the Friday night corps had to hang around, they would lose a practice day. But having just missed the top 6 corps on my first trip to Allentown, I wish they could figure something out (just make it a one day contest for crying out loud ... OK, that's probably sacrilege).

This was a tough one. I voted Colts but could have gone for a number of corps. I really, really enjoy the shows in the 10-16 position. They are usually fan friendly and the kids enjoy the heck out of performing them. I've watched Drum Corpse Bride at least 100 times ... can't say the same for Downside Up (even though Downside Up is amazing).

I love the Colts this year (even with the excessive vocals) ... let 'em enjoy the win :)

FYI ... I'm sitting in my hotel room and I can not see the building next door because of how hard it is raining. It would have been a mess if a corps was on the field during this deluge of Biblical proportions

I wish it had turned out different ... but I'm very happy I came. My wife now wants to come next year for my daughter's age out year. But I do have to say, the streets in Allentown are not the best ... OK, they suck.

$600 in plane tickets, $400 for the hotel, $125 for the rental car, $50 in tickets ... getting to hug your daughter in the lot instead of seeing her perform in Allentown ... priceless. OK , not really, but it is what it is. I can now cross Allentown off my Drum Corps bucket list. I can honestly say that I got misty eyed walking into the stadium. Tomorrow night should be fun.

If you're going with the water bottle, vodka is probably the best approach ... but again, no personal experience on this at all, ever.

Long ways from Rockford :) ... Maybe Blue Stars can run the Orlando show next year. I need an excuse for some time at Disney World.

Especially if you put it in a water bottle first ... but that's just a guess on my part.
