I'm confused by this conversation. Jubal competed in prelims at DCI in 2015.

. My son was in Cap Sound '99 - '03. I saw it all go down. He then went to Southwind '04 -'06. Then they got cut loose like CS. He aged out in '07 with the Scouts. It was especially cruel what happened to Capital Sound. Congratulations on making finals the first time. BTW, you're disbanded. But, I understand that the Scouts were the priority.

. I did hear that he spent a lot of $$$ but beyond that, I wasn't very involved besides my son. Roger Carter sure ended up in a great place after that. Happy for him.

. To be honest, things went down the crapper when he left. 2007 was very tough and my son was in the Scouts that year.

. Honestly, the stories of corruption kept me away. I watch a few events. Gymnastics, Track and field, and the men's basketball championship. That was about it.

Now I don't feel as if I missed anything. I watched neither the opening or closing ceremonies.
