I happened to notice one particular mellophone thing in Force of Nature where the mellophones had a slow trill thing during a loud chord that I had never noticed until I heard the Blu-Ray version. So big yes on the clarity and voicing thing. And that's just one instance of this that comes to mind.

But REAL DRUM CORPS consists solely of G bugles and marching timpanis right? LOL

Can't even lie that got very irritating for me. The only ones with a major positive impact on me were the opening X at the first hit and the T-E-N during finale.

Which is why I was simply asking for an elaboration.

So I was thinking earlier today about the lack of major announcements we've had up to this point, so it makes me think about Bloo's procrastination last year and how corps this year might be moving in a similar direction and I just hope that they understand something. When the Bluecoats did this last season there was a certain art about it where they not only held out to the very last possible second, but they also were teasing the outsiders at every possible moment whether it be posts from the corps on Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat in particular as well as the members hyping the program over Instagram along with the whole Agriculture conundrum. So by the time June 24th hit, the whole marching community was anxious to see what they were up to, and the program lived up to the hype. So I really just hope that other corps don't try this only to fall flat with either the type of hype or the program not living up to it. Just some food for thought in this waiting period that we're experiencing.

Troopers 2015 vocal soloist was a guard member plenty before the vocal idea. Staff found out she was a vocal major in college so they asked her to sing in addition to spin, etc.

Now that it seems this is just turning into a rumor thread, I heard one a while back that Bluecoats' next installment may or may not involve bending realities.

I heard BD was closing in on 1500 for their 2016 auditions. Definitely not unheard of to have 900. Seems like Bluecoats could get to the 1000 mark as well based on their camp pictures.

I'd make the argument that even before this upcoming season, Crown had plenty of issues *cough percussion cough* and so did Cadets *cough show design cough*

Totally agree. It's always seemed to me that they've had World Class show design as well, especially since 2014.

As evident on the corps Instagram and Snapchat, there is a TON of people at Canton camps. They tried to open the camp with a meeting in one room, but the room ended up being too small so they relocated to the gym, and they filled the gym. I'm not an expert or a psychic or anything, but I'm GUESSing there's a whole bunch of talent in that gym.
