  1. Go back in history a bit more. Blue Devils played 'First Circle' back in 1985.
  2. I didn't know that. It was definitely natural grass back in 91.
  3. Best stadiums I ever performed in, not only for it's field but for their enthusiastic crowds, were Camp Randall in Madison and the Mid-America regionals at the University of Indiana. Best grass field I ever marched on was at Fawcett Stadium at the Pro Football Hall Of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Absolutely immaculate!
  4. Kmart Cadets Oh wait... already been done (1988 reference).
  5. Is it really necessary to give a score this low? A score like this could be devastating to the Blue Saints. How does their staff tonight explain to the kids why they got this score. I don't think I've ever seen a score this low before. Just a shame. Maybe DCI should consider a minimum score for groups. There's no reason to be giving low box 1 scores.

  7. I spoke with my adopted kids (Jason-Tuba & Travis-Pit) the other night and they said the corps is having a blast! They are so stoked about their show and they love practicing it every day. They are truly seeing the results of their hard work. Can't wait to see them at the BlueBQ & DCI East!!!

  9. I'm just looking forward to watching the corps enjoy their season. Who knows what will happen with placements. Alwys a crapshoot. I just know the corps is happy with their progress and enjoying performing the show. Smokey And The Bandit
  10. Pocono Mountain East High School Marching Band is looking for a percussion instructor. Person must have all of their clearances. This person will be expected to teach/demonstrate to a drumline proper technique in playing and carriage in a battery line; marching and maneuvering. They would be starting a drumline from scratch; 9 out of 12 have graduated. Drum corps experience not necessary, but encouraged. Call 570-839-7121 x80535 for further information.
  11. CHEATER!!! HA HA... good job Jason! I'll catch you later tonight at camp. Can't wait to join my fellow alumni and watch the corps practice this weekend!
  12. Can't wait to hang out with the other alumni next weekend at camp! BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. The 88 show was awesome! I still have it on cassette and it still works! Hornline was fantastic that year and blew the crowd away. Would have made finals if they had gone on back-to-back against Sky Ryders in semi's that year. Definitely hurt that Dutch Boy had to go on about 7 hours before Sky. But one of the highlights of attending my first finals in 88 was definitely Dutch Boy!
  14. Phantom Regiment's 'Pipe Organ' chords in their opener in 1990. Sweet!!!
