No because judges are able to go back after the last corps performs to fix and finalize their numbers for all corps. So performance order technically shouldn't be much of an issue anymore.

Ah, so you’re using the Potter asterisk. Regarding Crossmen and Spirit both making finals, we can’t rule out a tie for 12th in semis, especially this year when scores are so incredibly close in clusters.

No worries—it’s still celebratory because today’s score is Mandarins’ highest ever score in World Class with 6 more shows to go!

You left out Cavies (looks like you meant to include them in 8-11). I’m thinking Cavies will be closer to 5-7 but technically on an 8th place island.

While this is true, it’s been inconsistent. Tonight Mandarins percussion score was close enough that it wasn't as much of a liability. The brass judge tonight essentially called the show by having Mandarins a full point behind Cadets—a significantly larger spread than any other time they’ve seen each other. Maybe Mandarins had a really off night that wasn’t as obvious on Flo, or maybe Fabrizio needs more time to familiarize herself with their show (I believe this was her first read of Mandarins). I’m hoping this was just a blip or that the next time she sees them (she WILL be at Indy, I have no doubt) she’ll be significantly more impressed.

Well, the bad news is that for Allentown, Mandarins' score drops them into the 7-9 group for performance order. The good news is that the other 2 corps in that grouping are performing on the other night of Allentown. So it SHOULD still be Mandarins and Cadets/Phantom all in a row (unless Boston gets a lousy draw).

I'm quite certain they have. Their show (at least prior to tonight) has been running about 13:40. That leaves a TOTAL of just over 3 minutes for both set up AND exit. It is NOT fast to set up tarps.

Because Flo's pit speaker mics aren't turned up tonight, so you're only getting Flo's sideline mics. This is why you can't really judge a brass line on Flo--corps that mic their brass are artificially full and balanced when those pit speaker mics are up.
