The corps on the field was wearing Academy's uniforms, but I'm convinced I was watching an unperformed Sky Ryders show. Z

I gave up and hooked up the laptop. Not the best situation for me as I have an 18 month daughter that is going to spend the rest of the night trying to get to the laptop. The struggle we go through to watch live drumcorps. Z

I'm using an Apple composite cord. Lets me watch the videos on dci.org and works fine for netflix YouTube and other video sites. As soon as the live feed comes on I get audio through the tv but video still showing on the iPad. I have the option of using an HDMI connection through a laptop...I used this for Minneapolis, but it's a bit of a hassle. Z

Trying to run an iPad through a tv. I have great audio but no picture. Archive videos play fine but the live feed shows on the iPad but not the tv. Using the DCI.org iPad app. Any suggestions? Z

Don't forget, the lower a score starts at the easier it will be to jump 10 points. The jump of 10 points by BAC may be more a result of the score starting lower than expected than an actual 10 point gain. I'm sure if you go back and look at the largest gains in a season, it is rarely done by a corps that wins a title. Regardless, gaining 10 points in a week is never a bad thing. Lets hope BAC continues to rise... Z

We were seeded 14th going into quarterfinals, but since we were division II we had to perform as the 4th out of 5 II/III corps. We then proceeded to finish 20th. We were better than Les Etoiles. I still look back at that Tuesday and Thursday of championships in Orlando and think that it was a turning point for Pioneer. If Pioneer won division II and finished 14th in semis...where would the corps be today? But that is another topic for another thread. Back to undefeated corps... Z

I know there are a few instances on the II/III side. I marched Pioneer where we were undefeated in 94 and 95...and every show in 96 up until finals. Magic was undefeated in 2002 although I don't know if they should really be considered II/III. I would guess there may be a late 80's to mid 90's Mandarins corps that may have gone undefeated. Any idea if Academy was undefeated the year they won div II? Z

Cadets have 0.0% chance of going undefeated in 2015. Z

I'm sure there is good reason for Crown not to be in uniform. That said, they look VERY unprofessional Sound great...look tacky. Z

I agree. I thought Crossmen sounded a lot more confident than Boston. Would have loved to see how they stacked up with each other on the field. Z

Chuck Naffier is my favorite arranger currently working in DCI. That said...Andrew Markworth has the Crossmen sounding like the Crossmen. That's easier said than done...just ask Aaron Guidry. Z PS-I have loved lots of things Aaron Guidry has done...just not for Bones.

This is being pointed out like it is something new. One group figures out how to do something New and different then for the next 3-4 years everyone jumps on the bandwagon. Vanguard does asymmetrical drill and within 2 years everyone else is doing it. The Cowtowns of 35 years ago were grumbling about all of the gobblety hook drill that wasn't "real" drumcorps. If you don't like the direction of the activity, just wait a few years and it will change. I went to the Evansville show on Wednesday and had a blast. I didn't love what Colts were doing and I had serious questions about Crossmen's props. But then Cadets came out and performed a show that I don't think any corps...10, 20, or 30 years ago could have dreamed of attempting. I'm happy with what corps are doing today...just like I was happy with what they were doing 30 years ago. Z

I'm sure if Star had their corps uniforms for the first few weeks of the 1993 season, they would have won a world championship. Darn slotting. It is refreshing to know that the 1993 season was decided in mid June...sometimes you can't make up what you read on DCP. Z Spirit will be fine...even if they waited a week to wear the guard unis.

I love both corps, but BD looks like they are in slow motion after watching Vanguard. Z

Phantom has an easier show to grasp onto, but I think BK may be a better drumcorps. Regardless, I much prefer this years Phantom to 13/14. Lots of good shows out west tonight. Z

Pacific Crest is REALLY good. It sucks that folks are going to compare Angels in the architecture to 2011 cadets. They could move up...but who moves down? Z

I'm enjoying watching folks "push" the prop that isn't in the show yet. Makes me giggle. Z

I thought my feed froze. Then I realized it was the Mandarins that froze. Seems like a good start for Mandarins. I can't wait to see the finished product. Z
