I can’t wait to hear the Cavaliers live. The brass is good. They have some dirt. Color guard has great moments....but I can hear Bruno Zuccala yell, “You’re late” too many times.

I remember this to be the case. They ended up second. I remember a mom of one of the members posting on Soundmachine that her son was in BD and the manner in which they moved to change it was amazing to him. He had previously marched BK but after not making finals in '01- auditioned for BD.

They are not live. For as fantastic as the vocals were last year, I was a bit surprised. I cant always have my way.....😁 lol

We had a some tolerance- if a kid from marching band did not live on the street, there was always a house or 4 that were parents of those who were and had graduated.

We had a large band where I grew up in CO for a very small HS {300 students, 150-175 in marching band}. We had summer band practices at 630 in the morning- marching through neighborhoods. and we were loud.....Problem is, the town was so small you could hear us on the other side of town Oh people complained, we never stopped...it literally was the only successful thing in that town or school.

People complained for years about the noise from Stapleton airport in Denver. So, finally in 1991 or so they built DIA east out on.the prairie....well, businesses came, houses came and people now complain about noise from jets again.

Other than level of performance level, I feel their GE numbers are closer to the Cadets. Feel their numbers will get closer too

Agreed. The design is there, the “frocks” work- I want more volume from the piece “Attraction” as it is so cool and hopefully they will “own” it more. Felt like the spread GE wise should be closer.

That’s very cool. I love the little ones view on the world. It’s refreshingly honest. I was not introduced to drum corps until 8. Before that was all marching band; the town I grew up in had a good program-I could always hear them practicing across town and when old enough my mom gave me permission to ride my bike to go watch.

Yup. I wish it were at a bigger stadium-of course I wish that for all shows. I an psyched that the last Tour Of Champions is at Infocision in Akron and not Massillon this year.

I thought Mason was a great stadium, but the stands facing west made it no fun-if course until the sun went down. 😁

Their 2014 show is one of my favorites of all time.

Academy could have finished last in 2016, but I loved and still love that show “to death” today. I also felt the same about The Troopers “Wild Horses” show.

This will never get old. 11 years later and it still stirs me

Agreed. I feel that some corps have props and use very little and add nothing. I think their use is genius this year.
