Best HS band interpretations of famous DC music

The topic explains it all. I'll start off.

Mt. Carmel High School 2006

Music from: Santa Clara Vanguard 1999 (opener, ballad) and Star of Indiana 1993 (closer)

Great music, and great drill.

Here's a comment from someone who I think posts on DCP as well:

I hardly ever hear a crowd go as ape as I did the Arcadia crowd when MC started the box drill towards the end. I mean--I've been around for a few years, and that was a drum corps crowd type response. What a GREAT show by Mt. Carmel that night.

Speaking of SCV 1999...

Seminole High School from Seminole, FL performed a show called "Off Center" using a lot of the music from SCV's 1999 show. They were absolutely terrific, but were 13th place at nationals, missing finals by one place. I thought they deserved to be solidly in finals that year.

If anybody wants the video message me.

Man--pick someone a tad more knowledgeable to quote from YouTube. I hear this guy is a complete loser.

And writes redundant drill. :worthy:

I love it when bands try to imitate Drum Corps. It really cracks me up. :P
