Elmo Blatch
Being bored, I have had a lot of fun toying with the buttons on the site tonight. Have any of you used the "FAST REPLY" feature? I just did. I timed it with a watch and it doesn't seem any faster than the plain ole' "ADD REPLY." Maybe its set up by the same people that think that saying Jack Kennedy is quicker than saying John Kennedy. Elmo Blatch
Musicman1084
Really? It's much faster for me. "Add Reply" loads an entirely new page, whereas "Fast Reply" allows me to reply after reading the last posting in a thread on the same page. bigbadjosh89
Well, you don't need to go to a new page and there are no options for fonts or smileys or links
skajerk
Fast reply is faster simply because you just type in your reply in a window that's already open and send it. With "Add Reply" you have to wait for the window to open and then type your response. Guess you wern't the only one who was bored. George
Fast reply is 17.8 times as fast as the "add reply" slow-mo option
silvertrombone
Let's try. Hmm. Pops up below, but you have to scroll down to it. Sure would be cool if it jumped down automatically--might make it worth the time.

Nite_Maresz_25
There's also an option in your profile that automatically makes the fast reply box open if its available on the thread your in. That also saves time.
Elmo Blatch
Ok, how many of you post your reply, then immediately realize a mistake or an improvement, and click to edit it? Elmo Blatch
