Medeabrass Posted August 8, 2007 Share Posted August 8, 2007 yeah they placed third in brass but it was only a couple tenths off the lead. top three were each 1 tenth apart in brass. Depending on the judge and the performance any of those 3 corps could take the brass title still. That's true...I hope I'm wrong but I'm just going with a gut feeling on this. cantgetenoughcorps Posted August 8, 2007 Share Posted August 8, 2007 BUMP, come on, this is what Finals week is all about!The time to take it would have been a week or two ago, in order to get critique from judges about such a change. It'd be really bad if they do take it all out and the judges say "You know... I don't think this show works anymore." I know that's not the popular opinion, but a judge could conceivably think that. No reason to take a chance when you're on the cusp of a ring and the judging community has bought into the show. You know what would be totally cool, is if Hop took out all the narration during finals week, regardless of how the judges reacted/scored them. As if to say, We The Cadets, have listened to our fans, and would rather give them more enjoyment, than to worry about our score. I know they are wanting to win another ring, I don't think any one of the top 3 corps is really happy/satisfied if they don't win. If you look at the boards, it looks like 95% of the people actually really love the Cadets show musically and visually, if not for the narration. So wouldn't it be awesome if Hoppy actually took all of that into consideration while planning those last week changes. anyway, my top 12 1. Cadets 2. Blue Devils 3. Cavies 4. SCV 5. Bluecoats 6. Carolina Crown 7. Phantom Regiment 8. Blue Knights 9. Boston Crusaders 10. Colts 11. Glassmen 12. Blue Stars 13. Bluecoats were just 2 points off the cadets in Clovis......nothing is set in stone yet Two points this late in the season is a pretty big deal.
