Probably some of the best soloists on the field this year, even with the flugel duet being somewhat out of tune tonight. The ending of the show is killer, and classic Phantom with a modern twist. Probably too many marching issues to top Cavaliers, and BLOO will be tough to beat again. Will be close, but great show from Phantom. Love that sound. They may wrest title of Worst Ever from the '93 Glassmen, and that is saying something. Despite all the running right before it, the formation of the wedge at the end seems to be lacking in some motion for what's going on musically there. Pretty slow development. I LOVE the first 1/3 of the show and the ballad. After that..hmm...wanders a bit. haha...I guess Cavaliers 2003 guard uniforms slipped your mind...though you're right...this year's Regiment guard uniforms are up there... When most people get to talking about the title, three corps usually come up: The Cadets, The Blue Devils, and the Cavaliers. Now, other corps have beat them throughout the year, but I've noticed that those three come up each and every time "title talk" starts up.
