CUDAKITE
Hi. can some one explain "Bones" to me in regards to The Crossmen? Who/What/Why? I just moved to San Antonio so I really need to know. P.S. I'm so excited to finally have a home town corps! Go Crossmen! :)

A27Lancer
It's been explained to me that "Bones" is the spirit of all the people who ever marched in the Crossmen. Bones appears infrequently, and when he does, the members feel an unexpected rush of energy and loyalty to the corps. The real identity of Bones is shrouded in secrecy. beagus
B) All that remains is the BONES. They have had their ups and downs thru the years and have remained a DCI corps. No matter what happened along the way they will always be BONES.
CUDAKITE
Ok, let me clarify. I'm 30. I just moved to San Antonio with my wife and my 1 yr old son. What I'm saying is I'm excited to have a great corps that I share a home town with. Audition info will be more relevant in 15 some-odd years for my son So Bones represents the experience/spirit/essence of Crossmen. I've heard people referring to Bones when talking about the Crossmen on this forum. I just don't know what they are talking about. Does Bones take physical form? beachdude
There is a phrase I've heard many times...For those who know, no explanation is needed...for those who don't, no explanation is possible... However you've probably have heard bones in the sense that it is a nickname for the corps.
CUDAKITE
Ah, very cool. Thanks all. Now if I see a skeleton man on the field it won't confuse the heck out of me. =)
