So, Gerard is wearing the beret?

Nope ... Gerard is the very first bass drummer next to the beret guy ... they'll have to guess him and the rest ...

Please Read Before You Post

If you *know* who it is.... please wait a while (not everyone is on here all day or even daily for that matter)

If there have been no Guesses..........Then give a *challenging* hint.

When giving hints on these try to be creative and just dangle the tiniest tidbit. Make people really think / work on it. Then wait it out a while before tossing another tiny vague tidbit...

C'mon we've got to make these last a little longer. PLEASE??

Also, any comments made MUST be made in good taste... this is a fun loving thread... not a revenge match. Please spew your venom elsewhere.

Please submit any questions and / or pics in their full size (preferably JPG format), with full description - names, Corps, Stadium, Year... etc. to:

The *Guess Who* Mailbox

Thanx in advance!

All that said and out of the way..

'66 Bridgeport PAL, Guess Who (Left to Right, 1 at a time) # 474?

2. next bass wearing beret = Warren Farrar

I can see this is going to be tough. Going on Andy's St. Rocco's clue and Harold Davis, I'm guessing the rudimental bass man is Warren Farrer. Harold and Warren both played rudi-bass, no? And I believe Warren is no longer with us if my source is correct.

Warren Farrar is correct! ... Outstanding rudi player for the PAL from 65 through our demise in 68 ... he was part of our drum quartet that dominated the NY metro I&E circuit in the 60's ... decorated Army veteran who passed away earlier this year ... was also part of the Indian tribe that started one of the casinos in CT ... see? ... it's not that difficult ... but ya gotta research the clues ... Glenn got that on a reference to his cousin playing in St. Rocco's ... there's a lotta stuff out there on the internet ...

He was a member of the Golden Hill Tribe of the Paugussett Indian Nation ... his tribal name was Snow Owl ... they tried to establish a casino in Bridgeport but it never materialized ... I believe they partnered with the Pequots who buit Foxwoods ... he passed in November of 2011 ... great corps member ... Vietnam Vet ...

completely OT and just because it's something I know of... Indians in CT/RI/MA of course pre-date the Plains Indians... At least in the case of the Pequot's, an interesting thing happened... due to normal human prejudice of the time, the early Americans - though tolerent of the Indians - did NOT assimilate with them... As the numbers of African Americans in the Northeast began to multiply with escaped and freed slaves prior to the civil war and many more just after the war, these blacks were also subject to prejudice but DID assimilate with the early colonial Indian tribes - perhaps due to feeling a common prejudice? I once saw the chief ot the Pequot Tribe and CEO of Foxwood Casino and he looked very much like Syracuse's own NFL All American, Jim Brown.. as a matter of fact, many of the Pequot Tribe - 150 or more years later - have the outward appearance of African Americans... I suppose this was probably true of the other area tribes also...

Not for nothing... just useless info I happen to possess in my dwindling pea brain...
