TomPeashey
so maybe the year will help... we all assumed 1972 BUT... that uniform was from 1966 through 1973... Imploded stadiums that Cru performed in include Atlanta and Pittsburgh... we can narrow down that by knowing the year... was I wrong about 1972? Was it 1973? NanciD
Please Read Before You Post If you *know* who it is.... please wait a while (not everyone is on here all day or even daily for that matter) If there have been no Guesses..........Then give a *challenging* hint. When giving hints on these try to be creative and just dangle the tiniest tidbit. Make people really think / work on it. Then wait it out a while before tossing another tiny vague tidbit... C'mon we've got to make these last a little longer. PLEASE?? Also, any comments made MUST be made in good taste... this is a fun loving thread... not a revenge match. Please spew your venom elsewhere. Please submit any questions and / or pics in their full size (preferably JPG format), with full description - names, Corps, Stadium, Year... etc. to: The *Guess Who* Mailbox Thanx in advance! All that said and out of the way.. Guess Who # 476 ? 1. Guess the Corps? Rochester Crusaders 2. Guess the year? 1972 3. Guess man on left? 4. Guess man in middle? 5. Guess man on right? TomPeashey
While Don's health gives him an excuse... I'm fine... I just don't remember a half time game in Pittsburgh in '72... but do remember the one in '73 when we did Saturday night in Pittsburgh and Monday night in Cleveland... However, the stadium in the background looks like Three Rivers and all 3 guys were in for '72... but I think I have to agree with Don that the guy on the right was gone in '73... man am I confused... The clue on the guy on the right was the New York State Barge Canal... He also spent the late 60's in Viet Nam courtesy of uncle sam... The guy in the middle was actually on staff for a VERY long time in addition to being a fine lead bari...excellent musician and pretty darn good horn instructor... With my mind going on this one... I hesitated just a bit on the guy on the left... but if I'm right and I think I am... he came out of Ridge Culver Statesmen and St. Joe's... he has been an actor and a contractor who lives outside Orlando and travels the world including his winter home in Costa Rico... Certainly one of the more colorful characters to come out of Rochester Drum Corps...
