We knew she wasn't doing well, so we took the little one up in Spetmeber just in case. While chatting with her, she had mentioned she knew time was short. I asked if she had any regrets on things she wouldn't be around to see. her answer was classic: "yeah a new announcer at the Lewisburg show. he's sucked forever!" Gladdy lived in the Selinsgrove area, then in a home in Lewisburg....for her last few years one of her few outside trips was to the show. She loved her Cabs.
