C'mon we've got to make these last a little longer. PLEASE??

>>Fish asks: What's an eight -track?<<

... where Allard stores most of his Diceman Radio tunes ... a perfect imperfection ...

as an aside ... Fish ... do you remember a guy name Richie who used to hang around the Hurcs? ... he bought an 8-track recorder in 67 and started to dub Fleetwood records until they got wind of it and shut him down ... LOL ... I think he paid several thousand dollars for the machine at the time ... one of the shortest lived businesses I ever knew ... his downfall was when he took an ad out in DCN (owned by Fleetwood) ... too funny!!!! ...

Okay ... sorry for the diversion ...

... back to Joe Reel-to-Reel

:-)

No I don't recall the Richie you refer to....but that is a funny story!. And I'm surprised that you're not familiar with our subject..As I've heard him mention the Skyliners on several occasions.

These are some very interesting clues. For the record, in the grooves, most all of us were involved in some way, mentioning the Skyliners, etc.....................

If this guy's first name wasn't Joe, I'd guess the feature is Wes Hobby. My second guess would be way out there, with Joe Fleetwood. It gets worse, so I'll stop there.

Not Hobby or Fleetwood....he shares the initials of the most prolific Hurc of all...

Then it can't be anybody other than Joe Genero Jr.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Now I'm wondering if that's even possible in 1967.
