Yeah, Bob Bellarosa, "The early years!". I think he was in Holy Name's feeder corps at the time.

Actually, I remember that photo from DCN. I believe the young lady's dad was the DM for the Connecticut Yankees and that pic was taken either at the Yankees' home show in Stratford or at the NECircuit championships in Agawam, Mass, many moons ago. Don't have a name though.

I believe the photo in question is of Emiliano Fungarelli - mini-drum major of Our Lady of Perpetual Guilt during the early Fifties. If I recall correctly, this photo was taken shortly before his unfortunate demise. He fell into the bell of an experimental contrabass just before the corps went onto the field and his absence wasn't noticed. As a bit of trivia, the corps came in first in horns that day.
