Did everyone posting on this thread grow up under power lines or something?

GROW UP!!!

will you all just grow up?

If you read my prior post, you would see that I am indeed only in the 3rd grade.

On a less antagonistic note... does anyone know how the spartan's camp went?

A quick visit to the Spartans' web site indicates that their January camp is this weekend. Spartans Web Site

Any News?

Don't worry, shortly noduttingoutloud will come on here and say they had 3 brass, -1 guard, 20 snare drums and none of the staff showed up. If it's on the internet it must be true!!!!!!

I've heard that they had 14 brass

This is correct. Also, seven snares, five bass, and four cymbals for drumline.

No tenors? What about CG and Front Ensemble? Are they really planning on marching with more drummers than brass?

I can't remember how many tenors, and didn't hear any other numbers for sections, so I decided to put up those I actually knew, rather than some hearsay.

According to the pics from the recent camp:

5 Sops (I know they're marching Bb now)

2 Mellos

4-5 Baris/Euphs

2 Contras

7-8 Snares

3-4 Tenors

5 BASS

4 Cymbals

6-7 Frontline

8 guard

I'm STILL in shock. I've last time spartans anywhere that small was in 2002 with 24 brass, 12 guard and about the same percussion.
