bawker
- Puma, anyone? (Only the greatest friggin' snare feature ever, in my book!) Sold. Seriously, though, if you can't groove to that drum feature, you have no soul...maybe they'll work it in somewhere.
EastCoastFan
Sold. Seriously, though, if you can't groove to that drum feature, you have no soul...maybe they'll work it in somewhere. Sadly, that classic Crossmen groove hasn't existed since Mark Thurston left.
Kyle B
Not even with Lee Beddis???
EastCoastFan
Not even with Lee Beddis??? Nah. His style of groove always sounded a little forced.
liebot
I don't think people need to worry about it being a Planets rehash. I think the show will be more like the Planets' unruly child ripping through the streets of L.A. in a Porsche 911 tripping on acid and high on ecstasy. Ok, so maybe that wasn't the most appropriate way to describe the show. And in fact, I know nothing about the show. But still. The point remains. It won't be "The Planets." It will be some twisted, f'ed up crazy cool interpretation of it. Edited January 31, 2008 by TSRTS13

rut-roh
Seriously? Yes. Seriously forced. Thom Hannum, however, wrote some AMAZING and tasty stuff for them in the years immediately following Thurston's departure. Some of my favorite Bones drumlines ever.
