Well, David...

If by "fit" you mean having it look like it was made to button at the neck, and have the buttons at the waist be approximately 8 inches away from closing...

Mine still fits. Sort of. Fortunately baggy was the style back then. And the sizes actually matched their specs. i.e. You didn't need XXXXXL bibbers to fit a 36" waiste. Not to imply that I can flex in it, or zip it up.

How would I describe myself now in my corps jacket from 1986?

In the immortal words of Chris Farley:

"Fat guy in a little coat . . ."

I nearly spat Dr. Pepper everywhere after reading that...

I just put it on, It's short and tight BUT I can get away with wearing it in public.

I aged out at 175 and now I bodybuild and I am 230.

So it got tight on the shoulders and back and not WAIST!

SUPERMAN JACKET!
