KeithHall
We talk about the top corps but there were many corps that were great and never made the elite top 12. Who were they for you?

JD misses the point. BAC, Kingsmen, Crossmen, Troopers, Colts = all made the top 12.
Jd83
I got the point and understand yours. I went by shows for individual years and from a member's standpoint, such as the rookouts from these corps from those years. Just wanted to make sure they were counted. Jd83
No problem and no need to keep your mouth shut. What are some of your selections? There were a lot of West Coast corps during your time who couldn't afford to travel to DCI. Which ones had shows that would have made an impact if they could have travelled? shawn craig
Squires: They did some very cool original things. Seattle Imperials: Small and mighty; very fun and entertaining.
CorpsBuff
82 Colts 93 Dutch Boy, 06 Pacific Crest, 05 Crossmen, 74 Royal Crusaders, 97 Pioneer, and a whole bunch of others. Pacific Crest has always been the corps that I've found most entertaining that has never made finals. Jd83
I'm going to go a little further down the placement rankings, past the Top 25 (remember that honor?). These were corps who had good shows, if they had more members (and better execution), that would have scored a lot higher. Here are a few from my time in junior corps. 1980 1st Canadian Regiment 1980 & 1981 Sundowners 1981 Mount Prospect (formerly Skokie) Imperials
