84BDsop Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 Since 93 Star, body movement by the brass and percussion has really become a large factor in the visual part of show design (yes....i know there was body motion before 93 Star....they just took it up MANY notches) Sometimes it's cheesy and distracting, other times it's perfect. Faves: Crown with the leg pawing last year Regiment last year...the whole section from the horn line reaching out to the Firebird soloist to the horns coming back up...especially when they stepped back and lifted up en masse.....I love that part! It seems like every year the corps proper gets better and more acustomed to doing the intricate body stuff. They've really elevated the dance aspect of what they do.
