dbc03
You just made your point. I wasn't trying to be funny, so I don't know what you are talking about
Convoluted
It was during Stars and Stripes this year when everybody began clapping. Dad- "You know you're in a stadium full of musicians when everybody is clapping together, this ain't no stinkin' football game!" Me- They even sing too! JamMan
Jerks=not funny. Loud jerks=not funny. A lot of these "comments" are very disrespectful to the corps performing and may discourage people from bringing their families to future shows. Wadep66
What did "Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin" mean anyway? Based on their uniforms, I think it meant "I'm going to blow up the earth." with my Pew-36 space modulator The text in Belshazzar's Feast says it means "Thou art weighed in the balance, and found wanting". If you've never listened to it, its some pretty juicy music and choral acrobatics. Belshazzar (or Nebudcannezer--I forget which) didn't know what it meant and had to search to find someone to interpret. In the bible, the whole story is difficult to understand except in the context that God did not approve of Belshazzar's rule and Babylon got the *(&^ kicked out of it as a result.
