saw it on CNN int. but hardly heard anything because some doctor was explaining all about Sen. Kennedy's condition. They looked pretty sharp though.

I guess I'll have to see if I can find anything on the net in the next few days

Dr. Sonjay Gupta....future Surgeon General. Get it right!! Just kidding.

Watch ABC - too much chatter - and caught Colts. Great job!

Here in Chicago - ABC just went to local news. Totally missed Cadets. :( Even after the announcers kept saying how they didn't want the Obama's to miss the bands 'cause the kids worked so hard. *sigh* One day there will be R.E.S.P.E.C.T.!

Just found C-SPAN coverage streamed online. C-SPAN coverage

Grand job by all the groups though!

Chris Matthews of MSNBC was very complimentary of the Cadets referring to them as the “crack” drum and bugle corps from Allentown. They looked and sounded very good to me as well. I messed the Colts unfortunately!!!

I'm disappointed how they showed the guard for about 95% of the segment.

I think its fantastic! After all, the guard provides the visual impact of a corps (especially when the horns and drums are marching in straight lines). The guards (for both Colts and Cadets) were great. Loved the Cadets head pop when they were cutting the 45 plane. Colts guard looked great as a group, pretty much squeaky clean! I was wowed, but then again, nothing less is expected when you're performing at that level!

Great job to all the guards, actually! I know what its like spinning in 25F weather!

Wait a minute...did they say the Cadets were the oldest continuously competitive drum corps in the world? I'm pretty sure that claim the fame goes to the Racine Scouts.

Didn't they just compete in parades at some point in the 80's and 90's?
