thePerfectbuzz
However statistics are compiled and analyzed, no corps that has seen another corps more than once and not lost to them head to head should be ranked beneath the corps that has not beaten them, at least not if the head-to-head competition has been recent. Phantom is too low. If this is a prediction thread, that's fine, but a power rating and ranking where you end up under someone who has never beaten you is bad science. This isn't the College Football Computer rankings. like Texas and Oklahoma right? MagicBobert
Dear Blue devils staff, Make ur show harder. I think I could have marched that in 9th grade. common. If you read that in the voice of Gob Bluth it comes across a lot funnier. Edited July 17, 2009 by MagicBobert

mcjordansc
Top 11 pretty much locked in now (the corps, not the placements). Hard to see any of last year's top 11 falling out of this years top 11.

It seems you are probably right on this one. The spreads might be too large to overcome.
Jeffe77
What jumps out at me is the recaps, Holy Name is ranked 8th in Perc. And Blue Knights is ranked 7th while overall placing 10th. PR visual caption is killing them which leads me to buy into the Design/Staff argument as to why they are placing low. In Visual Ensemble and GE Visual PR is ranked 11TH!!! Wow!! The good news if your a PR fan is that at least there's one huge weakness that if addressed can salvage the season for them. We'll see. Blue Stars is currently ranked 12th in percussion, that area is addressed and we can see them crack the top 6. Crown is tops in Brass, I can see them go the route of Star in the 1990, prediction, they will finish 3rd and take high brass. My 2 cents. DCImonkey
That Top 3 makes me think that there are some DCI judges that don't have the balls to make the call. I'm sorry but there is at least 1 corps up there that shouldn't be above 5th. I would rearrange that entire Top 5.
