boxingfred
A friend, Cavie FMM emailed this to me: Posted by: Christopher Lugo (Former Marching Member) Monday, July 20, 2009 - 1:24 AM I have had the privilege of being on the road with The Cavaliers since Friday in Houston. Tonight, at the corps' home show in Denton, TX - The Green Machine reminded me why this corps in so incredible. The corps presented the Holy Name Cadets with the LARGEST cake I have ever seen, in congratulations of their 75th anniversary. http://img169.yfrog.com/img169/3981/15819954.jpg George Hopkins, director of HNC, really enjoyed the cake! http://img223.yfrog.com/img223/3205/zss.jpg What a special night for The Cavaliers and Holy Name Cadets to interact together! Congratulations Holy Name on 75 Years! http://img268.yfrog.com/img268/9278/vy3d.jpg THE Best Moment, personally, was the quick interview with Bruno Zuccala about the occasion: http://tmic.fm/ot99vjnjkbv THANK YOU, CAVALIERS! do.it.up.
Extremely classy. I'd love to be with the Cavaliers one day. It's heart-warming to see what they did for the Cadets.

Dr.Mickey
That is so cool. But how are we supposed to turn this into a gripe session? This topic will die soon if we don't spice it up... Sure, the cake looks big. But it really wasn't that hard to make. I've never made a cake before, but I can promise you that if I did, it would be bigger than that. rut-roh
They should have painted a football grid on it. Without hashmarks.
JustABandMom
What... no cupcakes??? P.S. I expressed my admiration in the Denton Lounge last night, but it bears repeating here - nice gesture on the part of the Cavaliers!
