GGarrett
I think they should break ties with that silly mallot and gong stunt they perform during INT. Make the drum major of each tied corp twirl in a cirlce ten times then drunk-run to the mallot, fight over it and the DM who hits the gong WINS! or have a midnight run-off competition with no holds barred... anniem
or have a midnight run-off competition with no holds barred... or drum major cage fights... Now THAT would put a new element in the stands for shows.
g0at
Do we really want to create a system where it is impossible for a corps to preform an equal show (In a competitive context?) Isn't it somewhat dishonest to say that it can never/should never happen?
skajerk
Now that's a Scout uni I wouldn't mind seeing on the field again. I kind of miss those scrubbing bubble helmets as well.
Ben
or have a midnight run-off competition with no holds barred... each corps drum major chooses a weapon from what their guard is using that year. turn the stadium lights out. at dawn the last man.woman standing is the winner. YES! DCI are you listening? However, this will affect the drum major selection process for sure...
mobrien
or have a midnight run-off competition with no holds barred... Still the most fun I've ever had watching a drum corps show.
supersop
Without Music .... there is NO SHOW. The music caption should be the ultimate tie breaker in all cases. I'm already displeased that music is only worth 20% of the score .... but that's another thread.
parkbench
Right, so Cavaliers were well rested and CC was tired. We can argue that point anyway to suit our own need to justify scores. Just sayin... Looking at recaps ... Debbie Torchia (again and always) dumping Cavaliers colorguard. And very questionable GE Vis from Carlisle considering scoring trend in that caption since Denver. DcFr3aK
Crown's guard has been getting better, You can't deny that. Why is it not possible that they have caught them if not passed them?
