Wrong answer. The trooping the stands error happened while the Reading Buccaneers were coming on the field. The Statesmen had already performed. The mistake was a simple error on the part of those leading the corps off the field at the only show all year you don't troop. They weren't trying to "throw anyone off". But hey, never let the facts get in the way of a good conspiracy theory! And for the record, I was in Bucs that year.
