I taught the 2007 USSBA Group V National Champions (Upper Darby HS) that played Sullivan's "Deja View". Really well done! It's a great piece of music, and I usually don't care for the recent trend of original music in band/corps. Star United sounds amazing. Incredible trumpet soloists channeling Maynard, and an all around great sound. Star sounded like 40 horns they are so smooth and balanced. I'd like to know how they do that. Good genes? Tight genes, er jeans. And very comfortable shoes. Amazing performances by so many groups last evening. Congrats to all for putting on a heck of a show.
