kevingamin
We are now in Open Class competition and, starting off, we have the Rochester Crusaders from...well, you can figure that out, I think. Their 2009 program consists of: Mars (from The Planets) Moorside March Venus (from The Planets) Fantasia on the Dargason Jupiter (from The Planets)
JohnZ
We still don't have network connectivity at the stadium and, as a result, are unable to upload anything. I'm tethered to my iPhone, so I'm able to give the play-by-play, but that's all we can do until this issue is resolved. John Donovan's tried about a million different things to get us all online again, but we are at the mercy of the services given us.What stinks is that John and company spent all day yesterday making sure everything was perfect and ready to go for today. Didn't have any problems with the network then, but the stadium has failed us today. ...well, at least the roof is open.......

The weather being so good with no chance of A HURRICANE ..except from Connecticut...and Kevin..with regards to you at least giving Hockey Night in Canada a try??? Remember ...Grapes did his apprenticeship in the very city that DCA is now holding the greatest show on earth....not Rochester Americans mind you ..but close... kevingamin
I am going to refrain from posting photos as the rest of the DCP team SHOULD be able to do so. Heck, we might even be able to post some videos now!
keyp
Kevin, I'm on my way with my Verizon Wi-fi card. It's supposed to connect 5 people... we'll have to check it out to see if it works! Should be there by 6:00.

kevingamin
Very strong brass line from Cru! Trumpets are especially tight and powerful on the opening Planets statement. Love the Moorside March music. Heard Blue Knights play it back in '88 and '89.
kevingamin
Nice backfield playing by the horns now in Moorside, mainly low and middle brass. Trumpets now in, playing the melody. Great musical moment. Tempo now kicks up as the corps builds into the final statement of the main theme.
