kevingamin
Oops, one of the props fell over in back. Second time today we've heard Artistry in Rhythm. Not sure I like the horn sound, seems crass to me and not completely in tune. A group of horn players are taking their Army oath before going to war. Contras are laying down a great bass line. Rifles are doing some old school spinning up front.

kevingamin
Park and blow! Wow, didn't know people could bend back that far and still stay on their feet. Maybe a little overdone?
kevingamin
Drums are taking turns playing now. Snares layed down some sick stick work, then tenors. Now full line solo. A little dirty. Ahh, didn't recognize it at first, but the pit was playing Peanut Vendor. Whoa! That's a LOT of 16th note runs! Great resolution, too! Crowd's going nuts!!! kevingamin
Send in the Clowns, featuring that insanely awesome contra soloist. He played last year, too, and also was featured on contra and baritone last night in mini corps. I want to be him when I grow up.
MuZiK11
Looks like Class A Finals will have no one return from last year. interesting
TenorsForWorldDomination
Hmmm, not too sure where Grenadiers could have lost 1.24 Govies. 1.24 should be no problem for Grenadiers to pick up tomorrow night. If not, then they should be proud anyway. However, I had a feeling DCA would keep the spread just enough to keep Grenadiers from that top spot. Reed
I love how you just report on all the other corps or point out their positives, but have nothing good to say about MCL so far, Kevin... sheesh. (Except, obviously, Joe is ridiculous...) Edited September 5, 2009 by Reed
kevingamin
Killer soprano soloist now. Great Latin beat from the percussion and contras.
