KeithHall
Just want to know opinions about former DCI finalists that are no longer with us. For instance, Argonne Rebels (Sandra Opie and their horn line). Feel free to be detailed. Anaheim Kingsmen, DeLasalle Oaklands/Oakland Crusaders, Commodores, Purple Lancers, Kilties, Black Knights, Freelancers, Guardsmen, Seneca Optimists, Muchachos, NorthStars, 27th Lancers, Bridgemen, SkyRyders, Royal Crusaders, Suncoast Sound, Bleu Raeders, Des Plaines Vanguard, Star of Indiana, Dutchboy, Magic, Cascades. Did I forget anyone?
KeithHall
No one has anything to say about these once great corps? Dutchboy was a spectacle weren't they? Anaheim had that "California" sound from their horn line.
Big Bad Bari
I always wondered if it was as much fun to be in the Bridgemen as it looked like it was... I mean, I bet they had some intense rehearsals but they always looked so cool and laid back!
amadorj
Bleu Raeders (1972 Finalist) were a great corps with a fine drum line but had an awesome looking color guard. I married one! (going on 35 years).
IllianaLancerContra
Argonne proved that a valve-rotor G horn line could play in tune...
GGarrett
Guardsmen hornline... 4th place DCI finals 1979. They were very good. Suncoast Sound... Crisp, clean look and sound. Very awesome.
DPEmerald
I loved watching the Troopers march in the 70s.
KeithHall
Who didn't? Man they were fun to watch! I loved watching the Troopers march in the 70s.
jwscv87
Suncoast Sound produced outstanding hornlines year after year, but 1986 in particular was amazing. To this day one of the best hornlines I have ever heard. Very innovative show designs in the 80s.
BariBrian
Kingsmen & Kilts had two of the finest Baritone lines I have ever had the pleasure to listen to (again & again)
