JimF-LowBari
Let's hit 'em all: You know better than to invite them to a function on Labor Day Weekend (DCA version) or a week in the middle of August (DCI version). Or my favorite (parade corps version): "Hey we're having a cookout 4th of July/Memorial Day. When you get here, you get here.... We'll save some food if you're late." IOW - do your parades and shower first. Edited March 5, 2010 by JimF-3rdBari

SKEKer47
Well, I was way off! None of those were what my answers would have been. My answers were: Has anyone seen the reed for my clarinet? What do you mean I have to play the instrument AND carry it? What in hell is a horn in the key of G? Does anyone have a few thou so that I can play in a "Drum Corps" this year? (Hey, it ain't cheap to put up those corps execs in Florida over the winter). Color guard? Sponsor a meal? You've got to be kidding! A few loaves of bread, a block of cheese and some mayo. That's what we lived on, and I'm not talking the corps "on tour."

Triple Forte
,,and they know Blue Devils got screwed in 1988G Yup...the old "Pick numbers out of the hat deal" to determine the order in which the corps performed. To this day.....I have no idea why 1986 or 1998 Dev's were never selected by fans for the Classic Countdown in the movies......
