JimF-LowBari
Those posts were all in good humour Jim. OK, I missed perc2100s use of so I apolgize. (Need more coffee!!!!) And having played them I will admit they WERE easy to overblow. Well in that case... They know the meaning of RFL, "Loud Loud Hellish Loud" and "Blow 'em off the top row of the stands" as dynamics.... OK time for a serious one... have subscription to DCW to catch up on the activities present and own "History of Drum Corps" to learn about it's past. boxingfred
So, you've seen their show for this year already, drill and all? Now that's a serious fan. You know I meant 2009. Very funny wise guy

Lance
Serious DCI fans rarely speak only for themselves, instead pretending to be the voice of "the crowd." (we all do it from time to time)
Jeff Ream
when you know what they yelled at Star in 90. When you know who Melissa is from 2001. when you read DCP in the summer and say to yourself "wow Ream and Lance were merciless tonight" When you debate which version of the Bottle Dance was better in 92..VK or SCV when you debate who had the better Malaguena in 88, VK or Madison When you can name at least 3 corps who played Children of Sanchez in 1979 when you remember Lee Rdunicki closing down RAMD with his anger after the 1997 Vegas meetings
Russellrks
Yeah, I live in Oswego, NY. Not a very big city so that's probably why!Not to mention no corps near us, except the cadets and bluecoats. How do you know you're talking to a serious drum corps fan? They remember when Oswego, N.Y. used to have a drum corps.
dbg
A serious fan: If they can respect what corps/designers do from any decade without complaining about how the activity is evolving and regardless of how instrumentations might have changed. A non-serious fan: Remember when drum corps was still drum corps

dc oldtimer
When dispite woodwinds, amps, props, music fragments, dancing, corny encores, guitars and voice you still go to shows.
