How about a theatre showing of: 27th Lancers Alumni show, 1994 Madison Scouts Alumni show, 2006 Anaheim Kingsmen Alumni show, 2007 Royal Airs Alumni show, 2002 (or whenever that was) Now THAT would be worth attending. The audio for the bits in between are fine though, iirc, so this may be a DCI issue. Either way its a failure on DCI\fathom's part, either by not making the audio right or by not communicating well enough with the theaters beforehand. 2. Our theater wasnt very full last year. Really they should just consolidate ames\west des moines down into WDM (vastly superior theater) so its more fun with more people there. 3. The format has gotten worse over time. Less year options, less shows, more 'filler' and now no voting at all and just one year. I loved 2009, but even I am burned out on it at this point. Even if it were just stuff from the last 5 years itd be better than just one year. Or hell, give us the option to vote on our 5-6 favorite shows, and play them in that order. See what order the FANS wouldve placed last year. 4. Did i mention less shows? There were 12 shows the first year, and 6 last year... and now we're down to just 5? 05- 12 06- 12 07- 8 08- 6 09- 6 10- 5 Less drum corps, same cost? This plus the fact that the theater I went to Quarterfinals 2009 had the FirstLook audio stream on for the first 10-15 minutes of the show. Stupid idiots.
