KeithHall
They certainly have a shot at being in finals I would believe. Yes they had a problem with their percussion section when most all of the battery quit in May and they brought in new people. I give them a lot of credit for doing this AND doing as well as they are. They have some more time in bringing their percussion up to speed and...who knows what will happen Labor Day weekend. 2 more weeks aye? I think they were referring to the Class A title. Sun Devils are still 3 points off from having a similar score as Fusion of Govie. Though I have to say that if they get beat by either corps in Rochester, those corps must be stellar this year. I was very impressed with them last night. It is evident in how "close" they were to CV in score. If they can just clean up their percussion... I think they could win. idontwan2know
I have to say that the improvement in the quality of performances from the Class A corps since I was first exposed to DCA in 2005 has been remarkable. The point has been reached where the entertainment level and performance quality of these corps is comparable to many open class corps, simply with smaller numbers. Rochester is going to be interesting and I hope everyone turns out early for prelims as the unfortunate reality is that there's going to be some really fun drum corps that don't make the sunday show. Good luck to everyone!

TomPeashey
WOW!!!! Fusion Core at an 83.050!!! THAT'S A HUGE NUMBER for class A with two more weeks to go. Hurry up and give us the scores from the Midwest show today!!! Haven't heard the St. Paul MN scores yet - it will be interesting for sure... A quick check shows that the Fusion score from last night is probably (don't kill me if I missed a score) the third highest score ever by a declared Class A corps. First and Second would be Sunrisers and Govies at the 2007 Championships... Class A is no longer an experiment - IT WORKED!!! Now let's do the hard part and give all those corps that are on Saturday afternoon the great audience they deserve. I will be in the stadium at 2PM on Saturday September 4th - will you? Please come and support ALL corps...

HBD
What's the rule again with the Renegades? Highest score of the summer is used for seeding.
